What these scores establish
Seed-only means no neighbour expansion. It can miss essential indirect evidence. A higher score under a smaller denominator does not establish a better answer. Empty denominators are unscorable.
The historical S1 weighting is selection frequency × (0.5 + 0.5 × unique-tag fraction). Keeping that weighting in both the seed-only and two-hop variants isolates expansion. The equal-weight columns remove that weighting.
Graph expansion is associative; it does not prove a reasoning relationship. These results are retrospective evidence-coverage diagnostics, not certified answer completeness.
